Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") outlines the rules and guidelines for using EOS™ services provided by Intellect Dynamics™. This policy ensures the security, reliability, and integrity of our systems and protects sensitive healthcare data.

2. Scope

This policy applies to all users of EOS™ services, including employees, contractors, partners, and any authorized personnel accessing the system on behalf of healthcare organizations.

3. Authorized Use

Users may access and use EOS™ services solely for legitimate healthcare operations and patient care coordination purposes. Authorized activities include:

  • Coordinating patient care workflows
  • Managing hospital operations and infrastructure
  • Processing and routing clinical alerts
  • Accessing patient information for treatment purposes
  • Generating operational reports and analytics

4. Prohibited Activities

The following activities are strictly prohibited:

4.1 Security Violations

  • Attempting to bypass authentication or access controls
  • Sharing account credentials with unauthorized individuals
  • Using automated tools to probe or scan the system
  • Introducing malware, viruses, or malicious code

4.2 Data Protection Violations

  • Accessing patient data without legitimate treatment purpose
  • Downloading or exporting data to unauthorized systems
  • Disclosing patient information to unauthorized parties
  • Using patient data for non-healthcare purposes

5. User Responsibilities

All users are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of their credentials
  • Logging out when finished using the system
  • Reporting security incidents or suspicious activity immediately
  • Complying with HIPAA, PIPEDA, and other applicable regulations

6. Incident Reporting

Users must immediately report:

  • Lost or stolen credentials
  • Suspected unauthorized access
  • Data breaches or potential data exposure
  • System vulnerabilities or security weaknesses
